Withdrawal from the contract and cancellation of the subscription
This English version is provided for convenience only. The Romanian version (Retragere din contract și anularea abonamentului) is the legally binding one and prevails in case of any discrepancy.

In all cases, the domain remains yours (you bought it in your name, at the registrar). On request, we will send you the website archive and the DNS records, so that you can move the website and email to another provider.
How it works
- Complete the form below: your name, whether you bought as a business or as an individual (for businesses: the company name or CUI), the contract concerned and the email address to which you want the confirmation sent.
- Check the summary and press “Confirm withdrawal”.
- You will immediately receive by email a confirmation with the content of the request, the date and time of submission and a request number. The confirmation is your proof.
- If checks are needed, we will write to you within no more than 2 working days. The refund period runs from the date of the request in any case.
The request is valid from the date and time of submission, even if checking the contract takes longer.
The statutory right of withdrawal (individuals)
If you bought as an individual, outside a professional activity, you have the right to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason, within 14 days of the conclusion of the contract. The contract is concluded on the day we confirm payment of the pro forma invoice.
How to withdraw. Inform us by an unequivocal statement before the 14 days expire: using the form above (the fastest way), by email to contact@e-gata.ro or by post to Str. Pescărușului nr. 4, bl. D4, sc. B, et. 4, ap. 29, Sector 2, București. You may use the model form below, but this is not mandatory. The period is respected if you send your statement before it expires.
Refund. We refund all amounts received from you without undue delay and within no more than 14 days of the date on which you informed us of the withdrawal, using the same means of payment you used (a transfer to the account from which you paid), unless you have expressly agreed otherwise with us. You pay no fee for the refund.
If you asked us to start immediately. When ordering, you can ask us, by an optional box, to start work before the 14 days have passed. In that case, if you withdraw within the period, you owe an amount proportionate to the services received up to the date of withdrawal: the price of the paid subscription month × the days of service from publication until the request ÷ the number of days in the subscription month. Through our 14-day guarantee we waive this amount if the request comes within the first 14 days after the website is published and you have not used the guarantee before. If you did not ask for an immediate start, we start work 14 days after payment and you owe nothing if you withdraw within the period.
Examples, only for the case where the guarantee has already been used (website published on the 3rd, withdrawal on the 10th, i.e. 8 days of service out of a 30-day subscription month):

Withdrawal ends the whole contract. The minimum term of the package no longer applies: you do not owe the remaining months or anything else apart from the proportionate amount above, where applicable.
The 14-day guarantee does not replace the statutory right of withdrawal. The statutory right runs from payment and applies to every contract of an individual. The guarantee runs from the publication of the website, also applies to businesses and is granted only once per client. When both apply, we use the option more favourable to you.

Other options
You can also send a simple email to contact@e-gata.ro, from any address, with your name (or the company name or CUI) and the message “I withdraw from the contract”, “I want to cancel the subscription” or “I request a refund under the 14-day guarantee”. The effect is the same.

- Payment is monthly, by pro forma invoice; we do not take money without action on your part. If you do not pay a monthly pro forma invoice, Terms, Article 9 applies (during the minimum term, also Article 8.9).
- The data in this request is kept for 3 years, as proof, in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
